Welcome! I’m Rowena Gledhill, your reflexologist. How did I get here?
I was born in Weymouth and lived here until moving to London in the 1990’s. I was preparing to leave my administrative job to retrain as a reflexologist when I became pregnant, so my training plan was shelved. After I had my baby prematurely, I suffered with post-natal depression. My health visitor recommended looking into holistic therapies to help me, and I found a local reflexologist to give me treatments. These quickly helped me to feel better, and also kept me well during my second (premature again!) pregnancy.
Our family moved back to Weymouth with 2 tiny children, and when they started school, I spent 7 years studying early years education. Eventually though, my experience of receiving reflexology and my desire to learn the therapy myself, led to me re-train as a professional reflexologist.
I use reflexology to support families, during conception, pregnancy and post-birth, as well as ongoing wellbeing support for older women. I am an instructor for The Children’s Reflexology Programme, bringing the benefits of reflexology to families with young children. I have completed further reflexology training in Facial reflexology, and continue to develop my reflexology practice with ongoing learning, covering reflexology lymph drainage, and fertility and conception treatment.
I am fully qualified and insured to provide reflexology treatments. I am also a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. Please have a look around the site, and contact me if you would like any more information.
